SUMMER AND WINTER VERSION. tHIS MAP WAS ORIGINALLY CREATED FOR BEING IMPLEMENTED for being used Augmented Reality, FOR WILDMAKERLAPLAND.FI.Map in summer time and winter time of the area covering Ylläs Pallas, in Lapland. The maps are being implemented on a webpage to help clients to chose the cabin they want to rent for vacations in wild maker Lapland.
3D Character: Quetzalcoatl
I made this character because it is an important image in my dreams and my roots. The minimalist style represents the simplicity of the Aztec philosophy and the power that the archetype of dragons has had through history and mythology. Here I show some color and texture studies related to the same model and its process of simplification:
Horny horns project
Walking in the forests of Lapland I found some reindeer skulls, Then I got impressed by the shape and I tried to reproduce the model in 3d because I intend to paint it in reality. This prototype is helpful for planning on real objects. No it is becoming and artisanal kind of series where each head will have it's own personality trough some art intervention.
